About Us
Teaching Resources International is a non-profit ministry providing pastors, teachers, and missionaries with resources to strengthen their ministries. The ministry itself consists of the following aspects:
(1) Overseas Teaching Ministry.
Dr. Ehrhard began his teaching ministry by traveling 5-6 times overseas to teach in seminaries and Bible colleges in countries where there is a great need for theological education, but where the schools lack resources to pay professors. In 2010, Jim moved to Ukraine and has been teaching primarily at Kiev Theological Seminary in Kyiv, Ukraine. Jim has also taught in a number of countries including Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Haiti, Russia, Bulgaria and Ukraine. In each situation, Jim receives no salary and usually provides all of his own expenses. All finances for Teaching Resources are provided through donations that are tax-deductible (TRI is a 501.C.3 corporation).
(2) The International Church of Milan
Through the ministry of Teaching Resources, Jim and Karen Albright are supported as they minister to an international community in the city of Milan, Italy. In addition to providing support for Jim and Karen, additional missionaries at the church are also supported regularly. In the past, Jane Miles, and Adam and Heather Davies has served at the church. Currently, Tyler and Jessica Stewart from Missouri are serving alongside Jim and Karen and receive their support from Teaching Resources.
(3) Writing and Publication Ministry.
Our website, Teaching Resources, consists of various articles related to the study of the Scriptures. It is designed to be a resource for those in ministry at any level, whether lay-people teaching home groups, Bible studies or devotions or ministers preparing to teach God’s Word in the church or mission stations. We have especially prepared this resource for those on the mission field or in small churches who do not have access to such resources. All that is contained within is for the edification of the Body of Christ and may be used freely for such purposes.
In each issue, we attempt to provide information on a variety of topics, some written by the editor, others collected from sources found in his studies. Usually these sources come from books currently out of print or not in wide circulation. We tend to rely especially on the writings of the Reformers and Puritans since few authors match their depth and practicality.
We also provide a monthly Reforming Reflections that focus on short articles from the puritans or other sources. This is available through a free subscription or from our website. Finally, we are planning to provide other written resources to help ministers and teachers as time permits.

(4) Resources for Ministers and Laymen… Reforming Reflections, tape ministry, translations
Teaching Resources International is also committed to providing quality resources for pastors and others who are interested in Puritan and reformed theology. Through the publication of the Teaching Resources online, we hope to introduce readers to the powerful teachings of this godly men. Through “Reforming Reflections” we provide a page handouts that pastors can use to introduce church members and leaders to the ministry of Teaching Resources. Through our audio ministry, many messages by Jim Ehrhard are made available. We are in the process of having many of the resources offered translated into various languages, as funds are available. (5) Small Church Teaching Ministry.
Jim also provides a ministry teaching Bible Conferences and retreats at small churches as his schedule permits. This ministry is also provided at no expense to the local church. For more information about Jim’s availability, please contact us.
